The new Citroen C3 Aircross is a roomy small SUV offered with both petrol and new Citroen e-C3 Aircross electric options – and a choice of either five or seven seats.
The small SUV alternative to the new Citroen C3, the new Citroen C3 Aircross aims to draw in those seeking maximum value for money.
It is longer than many of its rivals, measuring just under 4.4 metres long. This allows the new Citroen C3 Aircross to offer the third row of seats, along with an ultra-large boot.
Bosses say the new Citroen C3 Aircross will have a generous standard spec even in entry-level guise.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross will rival a multitude of models in this popular market, such as the Renault Captur, Ford Puma, Volkswagen T-Roc, BYD Dolphin and Honda HR-V.
The new Citroen e-C3 Aircross electric will compete with models such as the Jeep Avenger, Vauxhall Frontera Electric, Kia EV3 and upcoming new Renault 4.

The new Citroen C3 Aircross was first revealed in summer 2024, but is only now going into production. It is due in the UK from late spring.
Prices for the new Citroen C3 Aircross will start from £20,240. This is for the 1.2T 100 Plus.
The electric new Citroen e-C3 Aircross is priced from £22,990. That is less than the opening price for the petrol hybrid alternative, which costs from £23,740.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross will be offered in both Plus and Max trim levels.

The new Citroen C3 Aircross has the same chunky design cues as the Citroen C3. It has a squared-off front end and a high, flat bonnetline, giving it an assertive appearance.
The high-tech headlights feature an array of LED lighting strips. The Citroen logo features boldly in the grille and there’s an SUV-style lower bumper.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross has chunky wheelarches with plenty of lower plastic body cladding, a high-riding stance and contoured sides. The elongated roofline opens up headroom for third-row passengers.

At the rear, the new Citroen C3 Aircross has dark-finish LED tail lamps. There’s another extra-large Citroen logo and ‘AIRCROSS’ lettering on the bootlid.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross also offers contrast roof colours, including the white option seen in the images. Citroen-branded roof rails are available too.

Inside, the new Citroen C3 Aircross has a similar dashboard layout to the regular Citroen C3. There is a large infotainment screen in the centre and a two-level dash shelf with a snazzy ‘head up’ display built into the upper section.
A semi-rectangular, compact-size steering wheel features in the new Citroen C3 Aircross. This makes it easier to see the driver’s display over the top of it.

The new Citroen C3 Aircross has an abundance of storage, including bright white door bins, a useful centre cubby and classic Citroen-style dash shelving. The lower section is covered in fabric, meaning items on the passenger side shouldn’t slide around.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross features a 10.25-inch touchscreen as standard. All cars have standard Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and reversing camera.

A welcome feature inside the new Citroen C3 Aircross are proper buttons for the climate control. They’re mounted below the air vents.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross features the firm’s Citroen Advanced Comfort seats. These have an extra layer of padding on top, so they’re extra-comfortable.

There’s decent room in the rear seats of the new Citroen C3 Aircross. In five-seat mode, they offer the best legroom in its segment and class-leading elbow room.
In five-seat mode, the new Citroen C3 Aircross has a 460-litre boot, which expands to 1600 litres with the rear seats folded flat.

The new Citroen C3 Aircross is also available with seven seats – only for petrol and hybrid models though, not electric. The large rear doors and easy-tilt middle row seats promise good access, although there’s only really enough space for children.

The new Citroen C3 Aircross 7-seater has a 40-litre boot with all seats in use and a 330-litre boot with the third-row seats folded flat. They are split 50/50 so it can be driven in six-seat mode with some space for luggage.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross seven-seat option costs £765.
2025 Citroen C3 Aircross engines, performance and fuel economy

The new Citroen C3 Aircross is available with a choice of petrol, hybrid and electric. The entry-level new Citroen C3 Aircross has a 1.2T engine with 100PS. It is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The 1.2T 100 engine is only available in base Plus spec. It offers 0-62mph performance in 10.6 seconds and averages up to 50.2mpg.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross is also available with a 1.2-litre hybrid engine, which uses a six-speed e-DSC6 automatic gearbox. This clever setup is available on both Plus and Max trim, and produces 136PS.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross Hybrid has better performance, with 0-62mph in 10.1 seconds and a 125mph top speed. It is also able to average up to 57.4mpg, and has CO2 emissions of 121g/km. In urban use, the new Citroen C3 Aircross Hybrid can be driven for almost 50% of the time in pure electric mode.

The new Citroen e-C3 Aircross launches with a 44kWh battery. This gives a range of up to 188 miles. It has 100kW DC rapid charging, which will take it from 20% to 80% in 26 minutes.
A larger, longer-range battery will follow later.
The new Citroen e-C3 Aircross produces 113PS, for 0-62mph in 12.9 seconds. It weighs 267kg more than the base 1.2T, and 156kg more than the hybrid.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross range should serve up a smooth ride quality. All models are fitted with Citroen Advanced Comfort suspension. This features progressive hydraulic bump stops as standard, which harks back to the firm’s famous hydropneumatic suspension in a less complex, more affordable way.
