Vauxhall introduces new trim aimed at company car drivers

Vauxhall has introduced a new Tech Line trim to the Astra and Insignia ranges, lowering P11D and BIK charges for company car drivers. On-the-road prices start at £16,470 for the Astra Tech Line 1.4 petrol, and at £18,995 for the Insignia 1.4 Turbo petrol.

The Tech Line models allow Vauxhall customers to benefit from a generous level of standard equipment while paying less in Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax. Both the Astra and Insignia Tech Line come with sat nav, DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, 17 inch alloy wheels and cruise control.

The Astra is offered with a 1.7-litre CDTi diesel engine which produces 99g/km of CO2, placing it in the lowest diesel BIK band of 13%. It’s also exempt from the London congestion charge and qualifies for 100% first year capital allowance. Further engines are also available, both petrol and diesel.

The Insiginia is also offered with economical engines, including a 2.0-litre CDTi which emits 115g/km of CO2.

“Eye-catching features matched to exceptional P11D values make the new Tech Line Astra and Insignia models really stand out from the crowd,” said James Taylor, Fleet Sales Director.  “Low CO2 emissions and efficient ecoFLEX engines deliver substantial savings to both fleet decision makers and company car drivers alike.”
