Mondeo Diesel Estate TDci 2004 - Non-starting - Chris 1102

2004 Mondeo Diesel TDci (93000 miles)not starting.
First noticed recently on cold morning. AA diagnosed glow plug problem. Had glow plugs replaced: two were open circuit, one degraded. Low fuel pressure diagnosed.
However, still poor starter from cold, but better when run warm. Running apparently fine.
During recent run on motorway, glow plug light flashing. However, running well. On stopping and restart glow plug light goes out, & stays out.
Now, won't start.
Have been told it could be several things, but is there a concensus on most likely?
Am not inclined to spend a great deal of money. What is best value of the car in this (non-working) condition? Scrap or repair?

Regards,

Chris1102

Not sure as I don't know a lot about diesels, but it could be a faulty relay for the glow plugs.

These engines don't need the glow plugs to start unless the temp is freezing or below.

The diag showed low fuel rail pressure.

As a cheap start to fault finding I would connect each of the injector spill pipes to clear plastic tubes then crank the engine. See if one is leaking more fuel than the others which will result in low pressure. If so, that will be the faulty injector & will need replacing.
