2006 Honda CRV 2.2 i-cdti - Rear number plate - Caston

The towbar hides the rear number plate located below the rear door. To the left of the spare wheel there is a plastic plate, can this plate be unclipped and a square type number plate fitted? I asked at our local Honda garage and they didn't know!

There is no reason why the plate could not be fitted there.The only issue is that it needs to be illuminated,so you would need to wire up additional lighting.hth

Many thanks. Have you or do you know of anybody who has done it, when I asked the Service Manager at our local Main Honda dealer he didn't know.
