Hi,

I bought my wife a C3 before Christmas and although it has the original radio, whenever the radio or CD player are on, it beeps loudly at short intervals. It doesnt seem to interfere with the radio itself but is hugely distracting and irritating. When the radio is powered off, the noise stops.

I spoke to the local Citroen dealer to ask about obtaining the radio code, but was told that there is no radio code for this (after they checked against the chasis number). They want £56 to book it in to run a diagnostic on it to determine the problem with additional repair works potentially coming in extra.

I'll pay it if it comes to it, but wanted to find out if anyone has come across a fix for this that doesnt involve codes.
