Dacia Sandero - Sandero seat and test-drive - timothyskinner

At 6ft2in I found the seat tight without the seat height adjuster only available on the Laureate which begins at £8K... plenty of headroom... car runs nicely and "feels" sure-footed in contrast to some comments I have read... so if you are interested in a simple car without black boxes or stuff you never need then make sure you can get comfortable behind the wheel before you do an impression of Borat...

Problem is a typical test drive is rarely long enough to discover if you are actually able to get comfortable.

I am a typical build (5' 9" and about 12 stone) and find a comfortable position in most cars quickly. But on a couple of ocations when buying cars I have struggled (Peugeot 206 was the last one) and I walked away, no point in spending good money to suffer.

Wife had a Puma and on any trip over 100 miles my back killed me, this is the only car I have ever suffered this problem in, would never have shown up in a test drive.
