Ford fiesta - Driving after an accident - elle3791

My sons car has been in an accident, rear end damage that appears to be minor (bumper is intact but either side plastic bits sticking out and crease in boot) It has been reported, waiting for a response from the other insurance company, but is it ok to carry on driving it in the meantime? Does it have to be re-mot'd or reported to VOSA?

"...is it ok to carry on driving it in the meantime?"

Probably yes, but the driver has a legal duty to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy - in this case, things like checking the lights work and that the boot is secure and won't suddenly fly open. Also, check that none of the loose bits of plastic are a hazard to pedestrians etc.

"Does it have to be re-mot'd or reported to VOSA?"

Almost certainly no.
