Gentlemen and Ladies,
Since my diesel car last ran out of fuel ... my car has a habit of over rev'ing and surging at low rev's and also starting to drag (choke) then release itself and accelorate away again - while I am driving on the motorway at say... 70 mph around the 3000 rev's - then surging and giving me so much power that i have to brake to maintain the speed limit.
I can feel something just go klunk and the surge is unmistakable, lovely power but short lived. My car is a non-turbo job, I have replaced both the air and the fuel filter recently.
Is there a fuel filter anywhere else other than the main filter under the bonnet? perhaps on the fuel pump or ???
ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE
