I had some injector problems, I cleaned the injectors which made the car run rough and stalled inless revving the engine. I tried the iyalian service which produced a loud ticking noise which will not go.

I have replaced and recoded the injectors/ecu, cleaned the TDC sensor and the fuel pressure sensor but the tickin perssists.

The car now runs fine, all errors have been cleared and don't come back. When I pull each of the injector plugs off in turn they all sound alike but ticking continues.

I have not moved the car from the drive in case the noise leads to something catastophic.

Any help please.

Does it do it over the whole rev range or get quieter or noiser at different engine speeds?

The tapping only gets more audible in line with the increased revves.

From your description and taking the history into account I would say you have a faulty injector but this engine and electronics are a law unto themselves.
