ISG, Stop/Start, call it what you want is a total waste of time. There are many parameters that have to be met including battery voltage, outside temp, A/C setting, fan setting etc etc.
On our BMW it rarely works this time of year and when it dos it only does it a couple of times.
But relax, the fule you save by having it working is negligable, the only purpose it serves is to allow the manufacturer to get a lower CO rating for that model.
We have 2 Volvo V50 1.6 diesels in the office, identical cras except only one has stop/start. One has a CO rating of 104, the other 114 yet both do virtually the same mpg in similar use.
Waste of time and effort, stop worrying about it.
