BMW 5 Series E39, 530d auto - Refuses to change gear if i full throttle - Raymond786

I have noticed my traction control light is on and one day i full throttled the car it refused to change gear, could this be the gearbox or a simple oil change of the gear box?

This may not be a gearbox fault.If the t/c light is on,then this needs investigating first,along with any engine management faults.hth
