Peugeot 307 - Peugeot 307 oil light flickering, oil is fine - JJR0308

Hello

We recently became the owners of a peugeot 307 2004. It has just in the past week been MOT'd, serviced and had a cambelt change. Since the day we got it, the oil light and stop light has been flashing randomly for about a second, then going off. We notice it more when we are breaking and turning corners.

Really confused what it could be? When we first noticed it, we checked the oil level immediately. It is at the max line on the dipstick, oil is in good condition as can tell its had new oil in at its service.

Any ideas? its only done 54k miles.

There are a couple of issues with these as to oil waring light problems.Firstly make sure you have a genuine Peugeot oil filter fitted.Also these suffer with oil relief vave problems and can be fixed by a modified oil filter housing.hth
