Is it me or is the instability of this web-site still pretty bad. I use 2 PCs to view it, one being a centrino based laptop with win xp pro and inernet explorer 8 installed. The other being a 2 week old Core i3 based desktop Win 7 with internet explorer 9 running. Both browsers lock up at least 50% of the time on first visit to this site. How can this be ?

Already covered at length - latest post being 'None - HJ site computer issue'.

Almost certainly down to a problem with the advertising, but without that the site won't exist, just a shame as its so frustrating especially when you don't want to view the adverts anyway.

We're on to it. But why are you grumbling among yourselves instead of emailing me or the mods as I continually ask?

Probably because ....more often than not we are unable to post responses - they get lost when we are bombed out so I for one have given up.

However (I am pleased to say) my access is a little more stable in past few daze since I disabled all the IE9 add ons, crippled a google program it tries to run etc etc. (My PC is Vista with IE9, but same affects my laptop which is Win7 + IE9, both patched up to date. Other web sites are also affected - usually when I want to "go back" but not as bad as HonestJohn)

Still hopeless with IE8, passable with Firefox.

Fellow sufferer for some time but....

I am having some success by Key Word 'Google' enter Honest John and then click on the back room.
