Hello. Does anyone know why my central locking automatically locks after 30 seconds after I unlock using my remote key? I cannot find anything in the manual to help me unless I'm looking in the wrong place. Cheers

How old is your car?Many cars have a feature that re- locks the car after unlock,if a door is not opened.hth

Yes. Yaris auto relocks after 1 minute if I do not open a door after using the remote...Safety feature in case of accidental use,I think.

Because that is what it is programmed to do. The system is assuming that you unlocked it by accident because you didn't enter the car after 30 secs, and is relocking the car to protect you.
