Mazda 6 2.0D (2007) - DPF,TCS,ECL Lights !!! - pdw001

Was driving home the other day, when the TSC and Engine Check Lights came on, plus the DPF light flashed a couple of times.

Got home and turned off, came to it the folllowing day and all lights were out.

Went for a run down the motorway about 12 miles 15 mins and all was fine, parked up at shop, went inside, came out and started driving and TSC and Check Engine Light came on.

Left it over night again, got in and the TSC and Check Engine light were on so drove to my local garage to have it plugged in on fault reader.

When they called me they said the lights had gone out but that the fault reader had chucked out code C1119, they had run again and it came back with no code ?

Drove home yesterday all was well, drove to work this morning all ok, went out at lunch and the DPF light was on solid, so went up the motorway and back down about half hour in all, DPF still on.

So decided to go for a longer run on motorway, set off and TSC and Engine Check lights came back on so i now have all 3 on again.

Does anyone have a clue with this as it is doing my head in, im supposed to be going on holiday next week !!!!

How odd.

When was the car last serviced?

Have you checked your oil levels (can be diluted with diesel)?

Definitely odd.

Its due for a service in about 2000 miles.

Full Mazda service history on it, and only 60000 miles.

It seems ok on the oil levels.

Ive sent it in to a local Mazda specialist as Mazda wanted both my arms and a leg in costs just to look at it and perform an oil and filter change.

Someones mentioned having the DPF removed and bypassed in the ecu is this a good idea ?

Doesnt explain the TSC light coming on though, i can understand the engine check light coming on with the DPF though.

the DPF light also comes on to alert you you are due a service - so this is a possibility

You can go down that route - make sure it doesnt cause you problems with your MOT. 's*******' offer this service

Had it in at Mazda and they have realed off a whole can of worms, want to swap all sensors out, dpf filter and abs pump.

Took some other advie from elsewhere and been told the ABS runs through the dpf system, mazda have agreed so there might not be anything wrong with dpf or abs pump, but hey want to start swapping sensors out at 400 each to see what solves the issue.

so its going back to where i bought it from as advised by trading standards.

I wouldnt mind if id had the car a few years but ive had it less than 3 months and done less than a 1000 miles in it.
