Dead battery, broken earth lead. Do warning lights on dash come on, does horn work?. Brakes may be awful but aren't anything to do with the battery SFAIK! You aren't really going to get much help without a lot more info I am afraid!
What does your breakdown serice say?
Is it still under warranty?
What does the dealer say?
