Nissan Almera 1.5SE ((2005) - knocking noise at slow speeds - S6133

My 05 Almera developed the following problem after new discs - pads were 1/3 worn.

After driving a few miles each day (enough for the car to warm up) it would make a knocking noise with each rotation of the wheel when braking at lower speeds.

This was looked at and the anti rattle springs were replaced (last Thursday). This seemed to have fixed the problem, however, today I noticed the exact same knocking noise when slowing down and accelerating in busy traffic but WITHOUT braking!

Any ideas? thanks
