Car seems quite old to be doing this conversion, but then my MB was 14 before i took the plunge.

2 years on no running problems at all, and i would do the same again tomorrow, luckily the boot is huge and i don't need it, i have lost half the boot space to an 80 litre cylinder tank.

I think the decision to convert must be taken by standing back and taking a long very hard look at your car and a close inspection underside, once converted you are compelled to keep the vehicle as long as physically possible to get some value out of the conversion.

Suggest make sure your car is serviced very well, gearbox oil change etc, and as rustproof as possible to extend its life as best you can.

Surely for that money you could get something else which isnt a Renault Scenic?

The French cars don't take well to LPG from my observations

This is mainly due to their soft valve seats

If you do go ahead with the conversion; make sure you have a 'valvesaver' profuct fitted such as flashlube

My S-I-L's car was a peugeot and had flashlube and the engine was trashed after about 15k miles on LPG. Just something to consider
