I have a mk4 fiesta zetec,

When driving it yesterday the heater control was up about 3/4 of the way round,

But was blowing out cold air, so i turned it to max but still only gets warm air through.!!

Ihave felt the water pipes coming up and out the otherside of the heater control valve and they are all hot too.

But still have no hot air , also the temp gauge is running on the bottom of normal( don't know if this is anything to do with this problem!)

And the water level is fine in the header tank.

Any advise gratley appreciate..

Broken heater conntrol valve.

I had replaced this last september. But am wondering if this is a common fault with these valves?

Does go cold but when on max it feels luke warm!

Reading the tales of woe around here regularly, I'd have to say yes! This one comes up quite often.
