I changed the battery on my tino a couple of years ago, have you tried pressing the set button next to the temp control rotary knob? I think it then comes up with a few options one of which is audio, fairly sure it gives you an input code option then. I may be wrong on any of the above, but I managed to do it easily myself- so it must be straight forward!
