That's easy for you to spell.......SAY !

It is quite common in the US for traffic directors to "dance" whilst controlling traffic to break the monotony. So why not there. How can you tell it's faked. Do tell.

When i was a nurse in Finland, I can say that i love my job and now on my current job i am not happy for a lot of reason.Maybe i am missing the patient that i love most in that place and now i am working in different hospital but not in that place anymore.

There is something deeply worrying about this guy. I wonder if he does this on any other sites? If not, why pick on this one?

It's sad, really.

You say you are a professional pedant. This indicates that you are employed as a pedant. I am interested to know who employs you and whether there are any vacancies?

Do You Love Your Job! - FP

Hello again, Ben.

Professional pedant?

In the phrase "by the way" you will note that the spelling of the first word is "by", not "bye", which means something else. With some reluctance I therefore have to doubt your credentials.

And, by the way, I posted because I thought some of the replies were pretty inane, so my post is intended to be ironic.

Yes, I did see the ;-)

Here's one of my own: :-))

And a professional pedant would have put a question mark after 'why have you posted'.

Methinks Ben is pulling our legs....

Yes, I love my job (training manager for a large firm of accountants) - as I'm a classics graduate I'm forever being asked to proof-read things that go out, so I'm nearer to a professional pedant than most! But I'm retiring at the end of April and looking forward to that even more.

"...I'm retiring at the end of April and looking forward to that even more."

Retiring from Honest John's Back Room, Avant? Looking forward to it? Can't say I blame you. There must be times when you do not love that job.

;-)
