Have experienced sudden loss of power twice this week, when negotiationg roundabouts. Car pulls away OK in first, but when changing up from 1>2 or 2>3, suddenly slows.(Feels a bit like the wheels have got stuck in something!)

It is in gear, but dies away as if not. Battery warning light flashes on momentarily, as if stalling, but when you lift off the gas, it immediately picks up and all is OK again.

Not sure if an electrical problem, leads, misfire or what?? ... Bit scary though when you are timing it to flow into other traffic.

Any ideas?
