hi,
i have a 2004, 2 litre petrol 407, which will not start. the battery has power, and i suspect it is probably the starter motor. it is parked on a hill at the moment. i got it started by letting it roll down the hill, and drove 30 miles, and tried restarting but no success.
the car had the same [roblem in may and december 2011, on both occasions, the starter motor was replaced with a brand new one (eurocar parts). i do about 12 000 miles a year.
does anyone know what the problem may be? i do not want to be replacing the starter motor every 6 months. also, any recommendations for independent peugeot specialists in the nottingham area, as i don't fancy taking the car to a Peugeot dealership.
Any help/advice much appreciated
