Hi,

Sorry for my english. On may Peugeot 306 SR 1997 year 1.9 TD does not work a fuel pump. But I do not knowwhich pumps is fitting with mine engine. My Lucas pump DCP: R8444B584C; Serial: 046563APE; XUD110
Can you help me with that question?

Engine is XUD9 TE/L.

What is the problem with this pump they don't usually fail.

I gave pump for repair, because pump leaking diesel. Repairman said that pump is mechanically worn out. He changed oil seals. All was fine until the winter. When were the 35 degree cold, the car would not start. Only when the car starts whet to use FAST START spray. I do not know what may be the problem. I think error of the pump.

Now my car is running. Just had to change the plugs. But now i have a new problem. Car does not have the power on the fourth and fifth gear. And perhaps giving the gas engine will sound horrible. As would be heating mixture bad or injectors were spraying badly diesel fuel.
