vauxhall vectra 1.8 sri 120 - abs not working properly - bigmart

hi guys, my vectra has an abs fault, when i start the car and set off there is a noise comimg from the abs pump, after driving a short while the yellow warning light comes on. during the mot a broken abs sensor on n/s/f was detected i changed this but the problem is still there. can anyone help please.

Check the n/s/f reluctor ring, it's probably cracked or badly rusted so the sensor can't read it properly.

thanks for that, will get my wheels off and have a look. if that is the cause were dose the pump noise come from? it wasnt the sensor i changed as i previously said it was the ring that was cracked
