Ford Mondeo - Cam belt or chain? - bikboks

I have a 2002 Ford Mondeo Ghia 2.OTDCi 130 S-TRONIC type 04-22 with automatic transmission.

Does this have a cam belt or chain? What is the recommended mileage life for it and is the replacement straightforward or does it entail a major engine dissembly?

If its a PSA derived engine it will have a belt, I think the recommended change time is 100,000 miles.

Try again, b***** Internet Exploder. At that age it will have the Ford engine which has a chain. Peugeot engines were not used until the new model on 57 plate.
