VW JETTA - DSG gearbox - Jethro

Is anyone familier with the dangerous hesitancy of the vw dsg gearbox when entering road junctions or roundabouts? If so does anyone know if this problem can be sorted out electronicaly. By that I mean reprograming via the ecu.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

this has been discussed many times before on here

It's a common fault with the DSG - regardless as to which car it's mated with.

There is no cure as it's the way it has been programmed.

My Octavia has the wet clutch DSG and doesn't have the problem. I think they haveimproved them in the last few years, although the newer 7-speed dry clutch DSG apparently has oher problems.

You'd think they would test them properly before putting them on sale, rather than getting the customers to do their research for them, the hard way.

No need, they are behind the golden badge whether it be a circle with the letters inside or the 4 circles doesn't matter in the least, the holy grail for those who need a badge.

While people are happy to buy goods of dubious long term durability there will always be someone happy to bank their money.

Could you imagine the scathing ridicule from users apeing the likes of TG if a maker without the correct badge produced something that couldn't cope.
