ford focus 1.8 mp3 - flat battery - paulingrad

I garaged my focus for a few weeks and when I went to start it I wouldn't. when I turned the key the small red light above the radio flashed. I assumed this was the immobilizer. After another couple on months I went to start it and now the battery is completedly fllat. and not even a glimmer from that red light. please help me.

If its been standing all that time without being charged there is a good chance that you will need a new battery.
