On behalf of a friend, so I don't know full details of the model, but her Peugeot is only a few years old and her car runs out of petrol very quickly.
For example, she tops up her car to Half a Tank of petrol, but it runs down to the next level of the metre after just 3 miles. This results in her having to buy petrol much more often, which is expensive and is consuming more petrol than her car is meant to consume.
When I use my car, the next level of the metre run downs to the next level after about 10 miles, so there is clearly a major fault.
What is the cause of this?, and
What does she need to ask her garage to do?
