while i was at my dealers today, who are also a Saab dealer, a customer asked for the price of an Led pack for the rear brake lights (the normal ones, not the hi-level one) and both he and me and the parts man were stunned at the cost £233 + fitting!

OUCH! The customer declined saying his car wasn't worth that much !

Seems that more saabs than rovers will get scrapped with prices like this. and it's only a recycled vectra after all!

The irony is that Saab spares prices were cheaper than the equivalent Vauxhall part - the Cavalier boys soon learned where to buy!

The other ironic bit (don't laugh) chevrolet epica battery under warranty 4 days delivery from chevrolet dealer. Chevrolet epica battery from vauxhall dealer 20 miles away next day, ?????????????????????

Easier to understand if you realign the brand names as Daewoo and Opel.

Efficient co-ordination has never been one of GM's strong points.
