hi my 53 plate vectra dti 2.0 is still using alot of diesel would service make that much difference , i put £10 of diesel in and only got 55 miles which i think is crap any**eas what else couldit be thanks

Are you using the fuel computer or is this guesswork? If so fill the tank to the brim and then again after some miles so you can work it out properly. If its using excessive fuel you should have black smoke from the exhaust and/or poor performance. Is it running at the correct temperature, what sort of journeys are giving you this consumption, are you trying to drive it like a petrol engine?

im not using fuel computer just when light comes on put £10.00 in then usually drive bout town but have done it on a run . no black smoke only on start up but have got broken glow plug
