MP3 player under £40 - Creative, Kubik Sandisk - Trilogy

With Christmas looming it's time to buy a member of the family an MP3 player. As stated, the budget is up to £40. Does anyone have any experience of the above? Or can someone suggest a good one i.e. straightforward to use and without too much treble. If necessary, I think the latter could be sorted by different headphones.

All suggestions will be much appreciated - thanks.

Im hardly an expert on MP3 players but i can report ive owned plenty of Creative's stuff and always been extremely impressed. If their headphones and 2.1 PC speakers with subwoofer are anything to go by i'd get that.
