Towing - Bobbin Threadbare

I have just done my morning run up the M6. I saw a Nissan GT-R being towed and it made me laugh a bit (early morning schadenfreude).

I think I'd be very cross if I'd spent over £70k on a car to have it conk out just after Lancaster.

Anyone else seen anything amusing on towed?

A newish Volvo XC90 being loaded on to a breakdown truck on the M3 today: unusual for a Volov, but of course it may have run out of fuel.

The best thing I ever saw in this context was an AA van towing another AA van.

I saw the supersize version of that once. An HGV recovery truck towing another HGV recovery truck. I still wonder whether the second one had broken down, or whether they had a job on that required two and were saving fuel by only running one of them out to it.
