Vauxhall Astra Twintop 1.9 150 Design - Spanner warning Light - twintop2011
The spanner light has appeared on my dash.
The peddle test revealed trouble code relating to the PDF P2452. I took the car out for a few long journeys to give the DPF chance to regenerate to no avail.
Long story but I've been back and forth to Thorney Motorsport, they have carried out diagnostics, regenerated the PDF, changed a PDF sensor and updated the ECU. As far as they are concerned all seems to be working OK but I still have the spanner light on.
The garage passed all their findings on to VX technical and the response was, 'It MAY be the ECU'.
Before going down the ECU route I just wanted to put it out there to see if anyone had similar experiences or suggestions.
The car runs and drives as it should but the spanner light remains on.

The spanner lamp on a Vauxhall is a fault warning lamp, and is not exclusive to the engine management system. There could be a fault relating to other modules on the car. You will need to have a scan test using diagnostic equipment able to communicate with these to give you an idea of where the fault lies. A Vauxhall dealer or specialist may be the best place to go.
