2056 Focus Ghia - Radio removal - freman

Method to remomove radio from fascia of this vehicle.

Car owned since new, recently had to replace batttery so lost radio code. Tried the code number given in the handbook, but it is incorrect so need to know serial No. of radio

All advice appreciated.

You may not need to remove the radio to get the s/no.Press and hold preset buttons 1 and 6.The digital display will scroll through loads of numbers and will possibly display the serial # starting with an M or more likely a V.If this does not work,then you will need to carefully remove the chrome plastic trim around the radio to gain access to securing screws.hth

Thank you elekie&a/cdoctor, as its not my car I will pass the gen on ,but I fear it will already be in the loving care of the local friendly Ford dealer.
