Got a Peugout 306 LX Auto W reg - 2000 estate, nice littl motor if a little thirsty. Just wanted to share this bit of info with any one else in same boat.

Was having a problem with the speedo, it would occasionally drop to zero MPH, then the car would start to judder. I think th EMU wasn't getting any data and thus reverted to "guess" mode. An annoyance but still drivable.

Left car at airport for a week which must thave finished off the battery so had to get new one fitted and lo and behold since then the speedo problem has gone.

The problem must have been voltage related - drives as smooth as silk now - happy bunny.
