What needs to happen here is your entire combustion chamber needs to be cleaned out, there're many garages now in the UK using an apparatus tool that is connected to the EGR valve and Throttle body. They take the EGR off and clean it in a product call ISC Part No 211 (induction System Cleaner) Once cleaned they put it back on and start the service.
Before they start they will add these products
The products are BG 44K or (244 Diesel) which is a Fuel Additive added to a full tank of fuel.
Then they put a can of Part No109 compression restorer engine flush added to the old oil.
Then they attach the tool to the throttle body or EGR or the inlet manifold basically as close as they can get to the EGR, with a product called ISC 25532 (induction System Cleaner) Then the service starts.
What's happening when it starts you've got the Fuel additive running through the engine cleaning deposits from the combustion chamber, fuel injectors and intake valves. It also cleans the Catalytic Convertor, and Oxygen sensor.
BG 109 Compression Performance Restoration is a revolutionary formula with proven “ring-clean” technology. It is a quick and effective blend of cleaners that will soften, emulsify and dissolve those hard to remove fuel gums that clog rings and will usually do it in 15 minutes or less. Compression will increase with removal of these deposits. BG 109 also lowers tailpipe emissions, eliminates oil consumption associated with buildup and improves overall power and economy. Safe for use in diesel and rotary engines.
BG Diesel ISC® 25532 Induction System Cleaner™ is formulated to liquefy and remove even the most stubborn oil deposits and unburned fuel formed by EGR and PCV gases as they pass through the air intake and intake valves. BG Diesel ISC® will liquefy the deposits allowing them to be burned in the normal combustion process.
This process takes about 45min and while its happening your engine will be smoking like crazy. After the service is finished the car is taken for a short drive around the block at low revs nothing over 2500 RPM just to remove any left over product and blow the remaining carbon out.
Then they'll drain the old oil and replace with new oil Filter, and engine oil but the magic is they add a oil conditioner called DOC 112 this additive is a oil conditioner that protects your engine from engine wear and collects soot.
BG DOC maintains like-new diesel engine power and performance, neutralizes acids and acid corrosion, reduces friction and wear on engine parts, stabilizes viscosity, prevents sludge through increased oxidation and soot control. BG DOC is compatible with all diesel engine oils including synthetic and multi-grade.
After all this you will have a car running like new this process is completely safe and harmless to your engine.
I've had this service done to my own cars and I can't tell enough people about it, the total cost was £155.00 a small price to pay when the EGR valve was £112.00 and you still have a dirty engine.
let me know how you get on.
