Hi

I have just had a claim rejected for my intercooler having a crack in it. Apaarantly it is wear and tear because of some oil and carbon inside the intercooler.

Is this wear and tear? Surely some oil is expected in a 7 year old car and also could this cause a crack in an intercooler. I feel seriously ripped off!!

I have written a letter of complaint but am sure this wont help.

Does anybody have any advise.

I am of the opinion that most aftermarket warranties aren't worth the paper that they are written on.
