Quick question. Do some women, certain women, spray their perfume or do they fill their bath up with it and splash about a bit?

Admittedly it does make one choke a little when somebody has overdone the eau d' whatever. I used to have to move if a certain physicist sat near me in lectures as his aftershave made me sneeze incessantly.

I ask because popping through town earlier, in the open air, i noticed a very strong smell of purfume on a woman who was about 20 yards away. And i just think it must be a bathtub jobby.

Or is it to make them so repulsive nobody can get near them? Some sort of anti-assault method for nights out?

Jamie the over-done perfume is repugnant to us all, but some women do seem to think it makes them smell classy. Walking past someone where it's so strong you taste it in your mouth is just yucky. Wearing just chanel no 5 in bed is cool; bathing in it is vulgar. Surely that's what water and soap are for?

I dont know what they're thinking tbh i can only assume they're so used to the smell of it they have no concept of how much they're using. Seriously today the woman in question was 20 feet from me and i was like 'jesus christ'. My understanding of perfume was its supposed to be complimentary not overpowering. I got the impression she was so made of the stuff if i pushed down on her head it'd squirt out of her ears.

I use aftershave infrequently at most, so much so a small bottle of XS can last me a couple of years.

Have you noticed most of the overpowering perfume women are also ones who think having clothes 6 sizes too small is fine so long as it has a designer name on it? Having Versace written on it doesnt change the fact you've got a fat a*** and its hanging over the sides love

Now thats very subjective. Its bad when its a woman from the camp of 'wouldnt want to see her in anything more revealing than an overcoat' but its good when its a 'mmm yes very nice' type of woman.

Nah on a serious note tbh im not a womens style guru and im not that interested in what other people wear, its up to them, each to their own n all that.
