Ford Mondeo 2008 tdci edge - ford mondeo engine noise - royster

I have just bought a 2008 mondeo 2.0 tdci edge and noticed that when i turn off the engine it makes an audible whining noise which lasts around 6 seconds then stops.There is no noise while running or at starting..just when the engine is turned off..is this normal...

It's normal - its the flaps closing on the ventilation system.
