Ford S Max 2.0 diesel zetec - Buying a s max - Tom J

I am looking to buy a used Ford S Max 2.0 diesel with 114k on the clock.

It has 1 company owner and full service history is the asking price correct.

How many miles are these engines good for.

If this is the Tdi engine it should be OK providing the oil has been changed regularly. The best way to find the durability is to look on ebay at similar cars and see what mileages they have done. I would think it should be good for at least 200,000 miles with proper maintenance.
