Hi all,

I picked up a Mazda 6 sport ( 2003) a couple of months ago. When I bought it I didnt realise it had parking sensors as they did not work for the first couple of days (not sure how I missed the sensors on the rear bumper).

Since then the parking sensors seem to work randomly. Some days they will work, other days they will not work. It sounds like a loose connection but what is strange is that I can park up my car at night, and the sensors dont work. Then when I go to my car in the morning they work fine...so the car has not moved all night.

The reversing lights work fine wven when the parking sensors are not working, so there is no link there.

I have tried to trace the cables, but all I can see is the 4 x cables coming out of the sensors, they then dissapear into the bodywork and I have no idea where they go.

I cant even find where the speaker that beeps is.

Any ideas anyone?
