Living laser cell - Bobbin Threadbare

Inspired by Jamie745's transparent planes thread, another technological and biological advance!

Researchers have managed to get a living cell to lase, which, if applied to other tissues, could allow us to see cell processes to very fine detail. How awesome.

Well could you not just have let it alone then? I find science awesome. You don't. Fair enough. When your leg falls off and you need some help with it, don't come crying to scientists for a cure <sticks tongue out and waggles fingers held at nose level>
