I was going to make a other comment on the HJ topic.

The moderators stopped any more comments which is their right if it becomes a slanging match.I didn't know this other sight excisted I often wondered where the familiar names wondered off to.

I found the forum and a lot of people who used to come on this forum.Motoring topics similair to here except the general discussion is far more interesting and there is more involvement .

I do get used to regulars on a forum.It makes a forum in my opinion as long newcomers are treated with respect.

Haven't heard from Andy in Germany for a while hows things Andy?

I am still here, in Berlin/Bonn/Dresden at the moment doing some consultancy work for a chinese company interesting to say the least,hope to be back in the UK later this year to take a post advicing and lecturing if it comes off.Luckily I am still free from cancer and will probably work till I drop I have tried retirement and it does not work for me.

Glad to hear you are still cancer free Andy.Iam seeing the surgeon in June a year and a halve now after the operation.Iam getting restless myself not easy always keeping busy.I miss the banter and working the Humber.Gone down from over 16 stone to 13 Iam starting to look like Twiggy.;)I might be going to Holland in July seeing my sister in Rotterdam and brother in Assen.Haven't been to my birth village for years Nieuweschans.near the border.

When in the UK pop round we live not far from Leeds you are always welcome.

I presume you have read the welcome posts. In particular I hope you get the gist of reply number 5. Bears my argument out on the thread here. The individual in question only locked horns for the fun of it and to get a reaction. Happens all the time there. Enjoy! ;-)

Hello Andy. I hope you recover fully soon.

You do not understand but the other site people keep referring to is another car forum where many original visitors to this site have gone of f to play. Former moderators Dynamic Dave posts as VxFan on that forum and Pugugly is still Pugugly over there. ChrisPeugeot and pda can also be found there.

Hello Ben.

I don't want to get into a argument but I never new this other forum excisted.I was curious where all the regular personalities had dissapeared to but never looked for them .I found this forum and signed in and they have made me welcom which i appreciate.Iam intelligent enough to know that there are lots of people brighter than me on any forum .But I like to participate and have a small input.Why this happened and so many people left I don't know Ben.I do get used to people who have a input on a regular basis to me that does make a forum.I dont like anybody being bullied but on any forum you have to take things with a pinch of salt.We all have different opinions and with some people you have to be more carefull than others what you say thats live.There are some great personalities on the dark side:) and I must admit I had a good laugh at some of the comments on certain subjects.And Ben I want to have a chuckle what other people say with a good sense of humor.Life is to short I found that out last year when I didn't think I was going to make it.Hope this helps Ben.

Why so much animosity Ben?

Whatever happened to live and let live, freedom of choice etc?

Quite a few of us read both forums and comment on whatever we feel a need to, on both of them.

Do we really have to make a choice, swear our allegiance to one or the other in your eyes?

I'm with Dutchie on this, the world is a big place and life is far too short for petty squabbles, and that is what they are.

If you feel you were unfairly treated, that's fine, but deal with it and get over it.

Hi Pat,

Its nothing to do with being unfairly treated, and there's nothing to get over. If you read my posts you will see I was highlighting the fact that the "other" place had a tendancy to have a go at the content of this forum, and I just thought maybe some of the niggles I had observed over there needed a reciprical reply. I have no squabble with anyone just an opinion that you see as a freedom and one that I feel I should have been able to voice.

As you say, you can comment on both forums. Well I commented on that place, and seemed to hit a nerve. Or just gave ammunition to the wind up merchants FoR the likes of Mr. French Car.

And just because I don't post on there anymore, I do have the freedom to read the content there. I've made my point. Just leave it at that.

The only one making a fuss about this is you and for a second time you have jumped on a thread over here to have a second moan. I dont take you seriously because now your here doing the very thing which you complain happened at c4p. Nobodys talking about it there are they... :-)

Well said Stu. Ben what's his face has issues. And therefore his post above has been reported as offensive. Whether anything happens on this site now remains to be seen but he has aggressive posting tendancies.

He has a bee in his bonnet about the other site for sure.

I see the swear filter still deletes the site mentioned above 12 months later (sorry Ben and the guy in the hat): Sad really that they post links back here and this site blocks them the other way,

PS Hope the Mod(s) on here got their 12 bottles of wine for xmas like it used to happen. Not that all old mods gave their addresses to get the wine mind.... although I did get it twice :-) Very good Laithwaites wine.

I kept getting email request from the other site to join, but stayed here out of loyalty. But when this site came back, I asked a couple of questions in the general questions forum, and got lots of really sarcastic replies. The atmosphere here changed, with lots of very conformist types. And I found the legal person on this forum too aggressive. Oh, and the moderation here became silly, with too many words filtered out. Oh well.
