Bought an A1 Towing tow bar for my Renault Scenic from a guy that took it off his Mothers car, downloaded the instructions for fitting from their website, and fitted it to my car. The tow bar is for a 1997 to September 2003 and as my car is a 2001 model, it falls within the range.
When it was finished, it looked like it was sitting too low, and leaning back about 2-3 degrees from the vertical position of the rear bumper. I also have to wire it yet, but need to know if there is a pre drilled hole for the wiring, or do I have to do my own.
So. Can anyone enlighten me as to the potential problem, or could I cure it by fitting a swan neck tow ball, thereby raising it?
