Hi All,
The sun is shining and its time to get the annoying fiddley jobs done!!
I was in with my local garage today trying to get two dashbaord warning lights off my GT!
They were bugging me all over the Winter and I have finally got around to getting them seen to. Anyhow, I got one turned off that was to do with the fuel and air mixture in the exhaust.
The second one is to do with the ABS Control Unit. Yes, I have read up on all of the other forums...seems to be a very common problem indeed. My car only has 50K miles on the clock since new.
I am trying to get the correct part number..I want to verify if there is any other way to get the correct part number than actually physcially removing the part to see it on the unit itself? My mechanic says its a big job to drain the break system to get the part number and then have to do it again to fit the new unit?? Is this lies?
Also, anyone know where I can pick up a gearbox? The box keeps clunking in second gear only when warm! Its fierce annoying!
I would really appreciate it if someone can shed some light on where to go next?
Thanks a mill
Andrew
