A few weeks ago the car started cutting out if I didn't keep my foot on the throttle. Put it in for a service and the guy ran some tests and found that there was no signaloutput from the ECU to cylinder 1, so in effect it is only firing on 3 cylinders.
I've been told that it is possible to jump the signal from cylinder 3.
I know older cars used a "lost spark" system with just two coils, but will this idea work on the car with its coil-per-cylinder arrangement?
