Seat Leon 1.9TDI 07 - Seat Engine Belt Changes - Blindside
The Seat dealership is advising me that as my car is 4 years old it needs to have it's belts (cam, auxiliary(??), water pump etc) changed. The price is considerable but my main concern is the possible damage to the engine if I don't get it done. The car has done less than 28k miles so does it need to be done now or can it wait and for how long?
Seat Leon 1.9TDI 07 - Seat Engine Belt Changes - CAR-PROBLEMS? SOLVED

With past experience of 3 cam belt's snapping on me i have finaly learned to have these fixed as soon as you can, if you have had the car 4yrs i would say change it to be on the save side or get another garage to look at it for you, a few hundred pound for the job to a couple of thounsand is a big difference, mine went at 26,438 on this car i have now,
