2004 Ford Fiesta 1.4 - Car will not start again after running - stoth

I have a Fiesta that starts ok but if you run it and then stop and then try to re start it again after a very short period, the engine turns over but it will not start. The padlock of the immobiliser continues to flash whilst the engine turns over and the only thing I have been able to do is leave it for a while and keep trying until it eventually starts. Any idea's please?

I assume the padlock does not flash when you first start it. That's your starter for ten. Try another key, or is could be the aeriel pick up coil around the ignition barrel. Regards Peter
