can anybody help me please everytime i turn on my dishwasher it trips out all the plug sockets in the house

Yes. It seems like it's got an electrical fault.

How old is it? If it's more than a couple of years old it's probably beyond economic repair.

All dishwashers seem liable to suffer from electrical problems due to the flexing of the wiring between the dishwasher body and the door.

Dishwashers are the second most likely cause of house fires IIRC.

thankyou for the reply its about two and a half years old do advise to purchase a new one rather than try to repair my current one ?

I wouldn't chuck it out yet we have had ours for three years.Let somebody have a look could be somthing simple.

If it isn't simple and you need a new one, I'd recommend a Bosch. Ours is over 20 years old and will surely give up the ghost soon, but it's a good innings.
